TIPS ON CREATING DOOR HANGERS

- Always try to use images in your presentation. Images of your product, before and after images, bold and visible images.

- Make sure your contact information is all there: logo, address, telephone, email and web address. You would be surprised at how often these important details are missing!

- When creating a custom shape for your door hanger, make sure to follow the "KISS" Principle and: Keep. It. Simple.

- Creativity is important, but remember that the bottom line is always the offer. In other words, don't send Door Hangers out just to announce where you are. Invite people to visit, join, call, inquire, enter, buy and try your product or service AT A SPECIAL PRICE!

- Do your homework and print sufficient quantities. Unless there is a "Valid Until Date" you can always use the Door Hangers at another time or in another location. By ordering larger quantities, you can save on a volume purchase. Remember, a major element in the cost of printing is the setting up of the job.

- Speaking of "Valid Until Dates", this is a very powerful way to initiate action on the part of the person receiving your Door Hanger promotion. If you want to use this tip but don't want to keep reprinting your Door Hangers, you can write "OFFER VALID FOR ONLY 1 MONTH FROM DATE OF RECEIPT". You can then leave a blank area and simply use a date stamp to manually enter the delivery date.
